Molly Heyen - Agent
A licensed real estate broker associate since 2005 Molly Heyen also has expertise in account management and marketing. She's an entrepreneurial, self-starter with honed communication and negotiation skills gained by growing small businesses city-wide and through community involvement such as Toastmasters and the South Loop Business Exchange. She thrives in a fast-paced environment bringing meticulous attention to detail in her work.
Consistently giving back, she has served on a neighborhood community board, built a Toastmasters club, and co-founded a chamber of commerce. Finally, in 2017, she and her husband realized years of hard work with the opening of his DIY auto shop business, Gearhead Workspace.
Starting Gearhead Workspace gave her the unique experience of working with a team through the University of Chicago’s Booth School of Business New Venture Challenge. In that program, the team wrote a business plan and she spearheaded the real estate aspect of researching, targeting, and securing a location. Ultimately, having bid on three locations before securing one, the process was a valuable education in commercial leasing as seen through the eyes of the lessee.
Her achievements speak to her dedication, organization acumen, and ability to communicate clearly. Each project she has taken on has required a heavy hands-on approach and a strong ability to negotiate. The systematic approach she takes to projects will keep your real estate transaction organized for a streamlined process.
Molly was born and raised in the north suburbs of Chicago. She and her husband have lived in downtown Chicago since 2005 and in the South Loop since 2008. As a native of the area she has a deep understanding of how Chicago is a city of neighborhoods and she loves to explore behind the scenes of how iconic moments are created within the community.
